Repositioning a 38-acre, 862,000 square foot commercial campus to house innovative, job-generating companies. In parallel, rehabbing 115 vacant homes surrounding the site. One of the largest adaptive-reuse, neighborhood revitalization projects in the U.S.
When?
Acquired in 2018, the campus has been cleaned out, maintained, and prepared for occupancy. The buildings will be renovated over the next 5+ years, upon tenant commitments. The neighborhood houses are currently under renovation and will be rehabbed in phases over the next 3 years.
Who?
Herman Kiefer Development (HKD) partners have decades of experience acquiring, developing, operating, and investing in commercial, residential and industrial real estate nationally and internationally. Locally, HKD is led by Ron Castellano. Ron has decades of experience as an architect, placemaker, hospitality owner, and developer.
